Ok well as most of you know, my life has been a constant roller coaster ride. I am too old to being riding one anymore. Again, I am getting a divorce, not by my choice this time. I have truly tried everything I can to keep it. I know it has only been 6 months, and it deeply saddens me.

The kids and I are hoping to get our place very soon. Tj is home now, and I have been working on getting a lawyer to help me with his case.

TJ Home for Christmas

Tj got to come home for two weeks of Christmas Break. There has been alot of changes in him. About 6 months ago he got a bad concusion at Camp williams during Pre-training, and his head problems have only gotten worse. His short term memory is pretty much shot and parts of his life and people he does not even remember. He has develop a bad case of anxiety and cannot be left alone in fear of he might get lost. The army is having him see a neurologist and memory therapist weekly. He goes back to AIT Arizona base in January for about 6 months to see if they can help him progress, if not they will be releasing him home, where he will be on disabilty permanently.

We have been so happy to have him home, and his speach has improved since he has been here (only 3 days). We all got to go see Tj son Liam yesterday after church. He is so adorable and getting so big. We try to see him every week so he knows TJ side of the family. So I have been able to have all five of my kids together during this Christmas break.

Update on the use to be Johnson family, now Burches Family.:) As most of you know I recently married an amazing man, Kevin Burches, with beautiful and sweet children, 5 to be exact. When I was younger I wanted 10 kids like my mom, well I have that now. They don't all live with us. Ryan, Chase, Shane, Luke, TJ and Kyle do not live with us, Kyle comes during summer and all vacation times. We have Megan, Sarah, Kristi and Angel (oh and don't forget Jedi the dog:)) living at home with us. Megan graduated last year and doing her photography and very good at it. Sarah graduates next June. Kristi is a sophmore this year and going to Orem High, we are happy to have her as part of our family now. Angel, well lets see she is in second grade and still an easy going kid. I hope that it stays that way. TJ is in Arizona at AIT training for The National Guard. His job is a Human Intelligence Collector 35M. Kyle is still playing football, baseball and basketball in California, busy as can be. We have move to Eagle Mountain. I also have the cutest little grandson (from TJ) his name is Liam and is almost 7 months.

As you can see our family has been pretty busy. Megan graduated from high school, and took state in her videos at school. She won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Tj Has a new son, Liam Alva, now 3months old. TJ Went to basic training in South Carolina, Sarah and her cute little boyfriend Matt and amazing, they keep us laughing. Kyle is still playing football and baseball. Coming out this summer. Megan took all these pictures, She is a great photographer. We moved to Saratoga Springs. ALSO I am getting married (yes again)> He is an amazing man. No date set yet.

We finally got our family pictures taken. I was able to have TJ, Megan, Sarah, Kyle and Angel for Christmas, my birthday and new years. Here's little update with us. TJ starts basic training for The National Guard in Feb. He has a baby boy that is Due March 15th. I know, i will be a grandma!!!!!!! Megan is going to graduate this May 2010. She got a scholarship to UVU and will be taking TV/Video productions. She turns 18 on January 12. She will be an adult!!!!!!!!!! Sarah is a Junior and has just about straight A's. Still singing and playing guitar. Kyle is done with football for now, but has started Baseball again. Non-stop sports for this boy. He is in junior high and I am hoping to have him living with me by this summer. Lord willing!!!!! Angel is in first grade and loves to read. She writes beautifully. I still am looking for work, but I have finally started receiving call for interviews, so something has got to come up. Thank you to all my family and friends who have helped us survive. Hi everyone. Here is our update for our family. I finally got a job. I start on Tuesday August 25th. It is called Vitality Medical, an Internet based medical supply company. Kayleen Orton is my supervisor. that is so cool. Tj is taking asvab test for the national guard tomorrow, and his girlfriend is having their baby March 15, 2010. Megan and Sarah started school at West Lake High School. It is a brand new school. Megan is a senior and will be the first graduating class from their. Sarah is working on getting her license and is a Junior this year. Kyle started Junior High today, he is a little nervous. He is playing football again and is Quarterback for the fifth year now. GOOO KYLE:) Angel started first grade and loves it. Her favorite part she says is eating lunch on the cafeteria and reading books.

I had the best Mother's day ever. I was able to have all my kids together for the first time in 7 years. Kevin made us Belgium Waffles with strawberries and cool whip. We all went to the Hogle Zoo. Kevin bought me beautiful tulips and of course I received wonderful cards from all of them. Thanks you guys. I love you soooooooo much.

We have moved. We are now at 692 South 900 East, Orem, UT 84097. We are down the street from Shannon and Mindy now. Yaaaa. update on my hand. I have several ganglion cysts in my wrist that ruptured and I am having surgery on May 13th. Megan and Sarah have decided to go to Orem high next year. I had mommy and muffins day with angel at her school today and we are picking up Kyle from airport today. It will be the first time in 7 years I will have all my kids together for Mother's Day.

Sorry everyone. I have not been keeping up on my blogspot. Well since Christmas alot has happened. Sarah had two surgeries. One for her tonsils and another for sinus surgery. She is still sick but is getting better. SHe is being taught at home by a teacher the school sends. TJ Has been going to ITT tech. He is still is looking for work. Megan has also been sick with Mono but she is recooping better than Sarah did. Megan is going to Prom May 2nd and is excited. Her first Prom. I fractured my wrist in two places on the same bone and I have it in a cast for 4 weeks. Then they will do an MRI to see if it healed or if I will have to have surgery and put a screw in it. It is my right hand and it makes it difficult to do anything. My thumb part is fully casted because the fracture is in that area of the wrist. Makes it hard to write and type (Which most of my job is) Angel is loving Kindergarten and gets to go to a new Elementary school next year. I will try better to keep this updated. I have been dating this wonderful man for about two months now. Don't worry there are no wedding plans.LOL His kids and my kids have been best friends for over 7 years. He is awesome. Most of my family have met him and love him.

Merry Christmas everyone. Angel spent Christmas morning with her dad. Kyle will be here tomorrow. So TJ, the girls and I did Christmas a little different this year. We stayed up to about 12:30 am and opened our presents. Then went to bed and slept in. We picked up Angel from her dad about 1pm. They had a few presents under the tree, most of them from Kevin. The girls are getting I-pod touches from me on Friday and TJ is getting Xbox 360.

Darla's New Job

I started my new job. I am the shipping Manager at TRA Mage in American Fork. The first two days were a little overwhelming due to the person training me was only there for two days to train me. I am getting it though. I am receiving their billing, placing orders for our inventory, checking rates on everything, Shipping, Building it all the computer, etc. I will finally have benefits and 401K after 90 days. The pay is good too.

Angel turned 6 years old. She had a party with her friends. I can't believe my little baby is growing up so fast. We had the party at her dad church building. They played games and hit the pinata and of course cake and presents.

I took the girls to get their flu shots today. I try not to tell Angel until we are there cause she gets so upsets and cries(really loud). but while we were waiting in the waiting room, I let her know she was getting a shot. Of course she started crying and saying no, no, no , please, no. Megan was really cute and was talking to her about the shot. I told her it feels like a pinch. So every minute or so while we were waiting she asked me to pinch her arm. It was so cute. She had non stop tears but was trying so hard not to cry. She did good. My baby is growing up.

Today I took Sarah to the DMV to take her drivers permit test. She only studied the night before and she passed. Yeah. Now we have 4 drivers in the house and 1 car. LOL

Happy Halloween & HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANNON!!!! The kids and I had fun carving pumpkins. We haven't done that in a few years, nor have we celebrated Halloween. Megan dressed as a Hippee and went out with her friends. Sarah Dressed as a Ganster (But ended up not going anywhere cause she was so sick) Angel Was Hannah Montana and went with her dad to their church party.

Sarah Had surgery

Well Sarah had her tonsil and adnoid surgery yesterday. It went real well. The doctor said she will be real soar for probably the first week cause she had such big tonsils. They however did not do the sinus surgery due to her Staff infection in her sinus cavity could spread through her body.Too much of a risk factor. Her ENT Docotr is going to try some allergy drops in a couple of weeks to see if it will relieve some pressure in her head. Keep her in your prayers.

Well as most of you know, Sarah has had mono for the last three months. We were told a couple weeks ago that she has a staff infection in her sinuses also. She was suppose to have surgery yesterday to get her tonsils out and sinus surgery, however they did a CT scan again and found that it would be to risky for her right now. We had to go do a bunch of blood work and now we are playing the waiting game. Here mono test finally came back and she is mono free yeah.

I have been laid off, due to lack of work during the winter months. Please keep our family in your prayers. Thanks. Love you guys.

Megan went to Homecoming

Megan went to Homecoming with a friend of hers named Luke. They looked so Hot together. (She hates it when I say that word) They went to the Olive Garden for dinner and on to the dance. Luke had hurt his knee just a couple days before the dance during his football game, and was on crutches before this day. She said they had so much fun and danced all night. I am sure his knee is pretty soar.

California trip

We went to california last week for a whole week. Kyle had a baseball game and football game. I got to go to all his practices and games while we were there. He loved it. At his baseball game he got to pitch and play 3rd base. He hit a double and a triple. They lost his football game 33 to 6. But he got to play Quarterback and he ran in the only touchdown. Megan, Kyle and I went to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and played in the sand and water than road some of the rides. Kyle wanted Megan to ride alot of the upside down sideways, crazy rides, which mde her sick. Poor Sarah Was not feeling well the whole time so she stayed with Grandma Marlene. TJ turned 21 and he hung out with his cousins while we were in San Jose. Angel stayed in Utah with Alfred (which helped the trip be less stressfull).

Well Sarah got contacts finally. She had a hard time the first couple of days putting them in and taking them out, but she can do it all by herself now. Good Job Sarah.
Tj Started his new job. He is making Cabinets now, and he loves it. He comes home every afternoon tired. Welcome to the working field TJ. We are going to california next week to watch Kyle play fall ball and Football.

Hey everyone this is our familys new blog spot, we'll try to keep it updated!! :)

We have recently moved to a condo in eagle mountain!! kids are getting ready to start school this monday!! t.j. is looking for a job and may start going back to school to become a pharmasist!! we started going to a new church about a month ago and love it!! he is on the college worship team and the girls love their youth!!

Megan is starting the 11th grade, Sarah is starting the 10th, kyle is starting 6th grade and angel is going into kindergarten!! Here are some pictures from the past few weeks!! :)
